Redness, irritation at the site where the oil is applied, is a normal process showing that herb has started working. So this is must for stimulation of melanin pigments in the skin which imparts normal colour to the skin. As babchi oil manufactured by our company is pure, quite strong and may lead to blister formation in sensitive individuals. So first test the oil by applying only a droplet of oil to the skin. If it causes excessive irritation, then reduce its concentration by mixing coconut oil to it in the ratio of 1:4 or 1:8 i.e. 1 drop of babchi oil and 4 drops or 8 drops of coconut oil to be mixed and applied on affected part, depending upon a level of sensitivity.

The distillate is left to sit for 15-20 days after which it will have separated into three layers - a bottom layer of tar, an aqueous layer and the top layer of essential oil, which we use. The oil is a deep reddish brown in colour and is sometimes known as 'nature's coal tar'.

Uses:

• Cade is a plant. The leaf, stem, and oil from the wood are used for medicine.
• Cade is used for diarrhea, peptic ulcer disease (PUD), diabetes, high blood pressure, bronchitis, pneumonia, and itching
• Cade oil is applied to the skin for itching; psoriasis; eczema; seborrhea; and skin conditions caused by parasites, hair loss, scalp conditions, and cancers. It is also used as a germ-killer in wound dressings.
• In manufacturing, cade oil is an ingredient in skin creams and ointments, and in anti-dandruff shampoos.
